Infection Prevention & Control

Apply standard and transmission-based precautions (hand hygiene, PPE, waste disposal)

Manage outbreaks and understand the role of decontamination and environmental cleaning

Safe Manual Handling & Ergonomics

Use evidence-based techniques and aids to reduce musculoskeletal injury

Design workspaces and routines that support safe movement for staff and service users

Emergency Preparedness & Response

Develop and rehearse evacuation plans, fire drills, and first-aid procedures

Respond to medical emergencies and serious incidents with confidence
