Explore the principles of risk assessment and hierarchy of controls
Hazard Identification & Risk Management
Conduct dynamic risk assessments in varied care environments
Recognize common hazards: manual handling, slips and trips, infection risks, and fire safety
Infection Prevention & Control
Apply standard and transmission-based precautions (hand hygiene, PPE, waste disposal)
Manage outbreaks and understand the role of decontamination and environmental cleaning
Safe Manual Handling & Ergonomics
